Jonathan G. Liss - Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator
Thank you for considering my services as a mediator. Now in my 27th year practicing law in South Florida, I have decided to incorporate mediation into my practice, and I am pleased to announce I am now certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Court Mediator.
I am truly excited about this new role. I have tried over 100 civil cases to verdict and I have been certified by the Florida Bar in Civil trial for 14 years. I realize many now view me as a defense advocate, but in my role as mediator, my only advocacy will be to advocate the process of mediation as a tool to resolve the parties case under their terms and control with my dedicated efforts to help. I believe that my active trial practice will allow me to have the most cutting edge, boots on the ground, insight into the South Florida litigation environment, which will benefit the parties that trust me with their mediation.
My mediation fee schedule is listed below along with information pertaining to scheduling. Due to my ongoing practice, I would have conflicts in any cases involving these insurance carriers: State Farm Insurance, Met Life Auto& Home, Direct Powered by American Family (previously Ameriprise), Swiss Re Insurance, and Universal Insurance.
Again, thank you for your consideration. I too have been guilty of using the same mediators I have become comfortable with over the years, but I am confident that I can bring a certain energy and tone to your next mediation that will make it a purposeful endeavor.
Thanks for your consideration,
Jonathan G. Liss
