Richard A. Chackman
Associate
Richard was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida and attended the
University of Florida, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in
Economics in 2007. He went on to attend the dual degree program at the
University of Miami, where he received his Master’s in Business
Administration and Juris Doctor in 2010 and 2011 respectively.
Richard has focused his practice in the area of first party property disputes
since 2011. In addition to working at Bernstein, Chackman & Liss, he has had
the experience of working for another insurance defense firm and a regional
insurance carrier.
Richard and his wife, Helena, have two daughters and reside in Broward
County, Florida. Aside from quality time with friends and family, Richard
enjoys endurance sports, including triathlons and running.
